Latin America's Top 5 Android Card Battlers Show Varied Trends in Q4 2023
During the fourth quarter of 2023, the card battler genre witnessed some interesting trends in Latin America on the Android platform. Utilizing data provided by Sensor Tower, we're able to delve into the performance of the top five card battler applications in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Plants vs. Zombies™ Heroes experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking at 54K in late September and dipping to 14K by late November. However, it rebounded to 27K by the year's end. Weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 224K to 191K over the quarter. Revenue peaked in the last week of December at approximately $4.6K.
Despite not generating revenue, Pokémon TCG Live showed a steady interest in downloads, hovering around 20K to 23K, with a spike to 29K in mid-November. Weekly active users ranged from 150K to 177K, ending the quarter slightly lower at 173K.
Nuverse published MARVEL SNAP, which showcased a revenue trend with peaks and troughs, ending the quarter with around $27K. Lastly, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel showed modest revenue, which peaked at $7K in early December. Downloads saw significant spikes, particularly in late November and mid-December, reaching over 21K. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, growing from 125K to 147K throughout the quarter.
